I was fortunate to be in the fine town of Boulder, CO last
nite, and happened upon the legendary Fox Theatre. The band put on an excellent show - I've never seen DSO so I can't compare, but for someone who has been out of the live music scene for while (thanks wife and kids), it was splendor to hear our favorite songs being pumped out at full volume with an appreciative audience dancing the nite away.

See the band if you get a chance - I don't think they venture out of CO much or gpo the Fox- awesome sound, great vibe and $4.50 pints!

Peace

The Fox is a great venue. We used to live in Colorado Springs and travel up there for shows. Of course Red Rocks is nice. And we also enjoyed an Other Ones show at Fiddlers Green. Is FG still around?

Ramblin' Rose is Portland, OR's Dead cover band. They put on a very fine show. http://www.ramblinroseband.com/

The Glass Camels: that would be a great name for a band even if it wasn't doing Dead covers.

Did you ever run into a musical group, works out of Kansas City, calls themselves Four Jacks and a Jill? They've been at a Ramada Inn there for about eighteen months. If you're ever in Kansas City and you want to hear some good music you might want to drop by.
